A sending away; a putting into commission; the assignment of a debt to another;\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">the intrusting another with a general power to act for the good of those who depute him; a body\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">of delegates.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">AUTHORITY. Permission. Control over, jurisdiction. Often synonymous with power. The power delegated by a principal to his agent. The lawful delegation of power by one person to another. Power of agent to affect legal relations of principal by acts done in accordance with principal&#8217;s\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">manifestations of consent to agent.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">JURISDICTION.. It is the authority, capacity, power or right to act.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">QUI NON HABET, ILLE NON DAT. He who has not, gives not. He who has nothing to give, gives\u00a0nothing. A person cannot convey a right that is not in him.
